I remember from my childhood that wool was something warm, but also very itchy garments. Didn't hear much of merino wool in the 80's...
I've tested a new version of Icebreaker Oasis Crewe. This long sleeve top is has a 200 g/m2 weaving of the finest merino wool, and is relatively thin. The tight fitting shape feels great now when Icebreaker got some elastic to the top. It's much easier to take on and off. I have actually teared some tops when taking off my clothes. I think this new version will be much better.
I like that the Oasis Crewe long sleeve top is thin. It's still quite warm when I'm running and keeps me dry during and after training.
If you prefer to wear wool, this is a great garment for running and cross country skiing.

I love the Icebreaker wool equipment... love everything wool really. Thank you for the info.
I would love to try this one too!
At Løplabbet they had this really pinky one, which I almost bought.
But for the time being my wool stock is rather good, maybe too good. The wool stuff from Kari Traa is great, and it´s hard to let her down just like that;-)
So, what to do?
